KMC unveils Grade 11 Scholarship results – see who made the cut!

Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City published the names of 2,859 students who are listed on the nomination (matching) list for the class 11 scholarship exam on Saturday, July 27th.

The list was released in accordance with the decision of the scholarship selection committee and has been sent to schools via email. Students also received notifications through SMS. They can check their recommendation details using the same method they used to receive their admit cards.

Engineer Shailendra Jha, a member of the Urban Planning Commission of KMC, explained that the published list includes the merit order based on the results from the exam held on July 19. It also reflects the preferences indicated by candidates in their online application forms and the number of seats available in each subject and group.

Students whose names are on the list must complete their enrollment by July 30. Govinda Prasad Sharma, coordinator and education officer of the scholarship selection committee, warned that no claims will be accepted after this deadline.

For Science stream, there are 1,757 scholarship quotas available. Of the 8,497 applicants, 7,665 took the exam, and 6,720 passed. The names of 1,637 successful candidates have been published in the first list.

In Management faculty, there are 2,493 scholarships available. Out of 2,581 applicants, 2,328 sat for the exam, and 1,381 passed. The first matching list includes 1,146 names.

For Law stream, there are 136 scholarship quotas. Out of 153 applicants, 132 took the exam, and 73 passed. Names of 53 successful candidates have been published.

Humanities and Arts have 173 scholarship quotas. There were 13 applications, 11 of which were tested, and 8 passed.

In the Education faculty, there are 70 scholarship quotas. Of 37 applicants, 32 participated in the exam, and 15 passed. Names of all passing candidates have been published.

The online application for scholarship quotas opened at 10 a.m. on June 29 and closed at 11:59 p.m. the same day. A total of 11,871 students applied, with 11,281 applications approved. The exam was conducted on July 4 across 38 centers.
