Govt nominates Dr. Anjan Shakya for National Assembly membership

KATHMANDU: Dr. Anjan Shakya has been recommended by the government to become a member of the National Assembly (NA).

In a recent cabinet meeting led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, it was decided to propose Shakya for the NA position.

Shakya, who has previously served as the Nepali Ambassador to Israel, has been nominated by the ruling CPN-UML party for this role.
