Managing Director Anil Kumar Jha of the JEMC confirmed that textbooks covering all subjects for the academic year 2081 BS have been printed at nine production centers located throughout the nation.

"We have diligently fulfilled our responsibility to ensure timely delivery of textbooks to the districts," Jha remarked, expressing confidence that this year's distribution process would not be marred by delays.

The JEMC has also released a price list for textbooks ranging from grade 3 to 12 for the upcoming academic session. Additionally, it has unveiled the price list of classified distributors for each province.

Last year witnessed textbooks being available in the market ahead of the academic year. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' had actively advocated for timely textbook distribution, while Education Minister Sumana Shrestha this year inspected the JEMC's offices and printing press in Bhaktapur, urging for prompt delivery.

With preparations in full swing, the student enrollment campaign for the new academic session is set to kick off nationwide on April 14. The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, through the Centre for Education and Human Resource Development, has called upon local authorities and stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of the student enrollment campaign facilitation action plan.
