Sudurpaschim Province's lawmaker Indira Giri relieved from her post

KATHMANDU: Indira Giri, a lawmaker from the Nagarik Unmukti Party in Sudurpaschim Province, has been ousted from her position.

The decision came after the party's Chairperson, Ranjita Shrestha, took action against Giri and recalled her.

Speaker Bhim Bhandari affirmed Giri's dismissal from office in a statement issued following the development.
