Gold price soars to new heights

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu witnesses a surge in gold prices, hitting a new milestone as fine gold reaches Rs 135,600 per tola on Thursday.

This significant rise of Rs 2,500 per tola follows an already remarkable spike in recent trends.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold now stands at Rs 135,600 per tola, while standard gold is traded at Rs 134,950 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver is fixed at Rs 1,670 per tola today.
