Nepal sets target of 185 runs for Netherlands in T20I series finals
KATHMANDU: In the thrilling finals of the tri-nations T20 International series, Nepal has put forth a target of 185 runs for the Netherlands to chase.
Choosing to bat first after winning the toss, Nepal wrapped up their innings at 184 runs for the loss of eight wickets within the stipulated 20 overs.
Leading the scoring, Aasif Sheikh contributed 47 runs, while Kushal Bhurtel and Captain Rohit Poudel added 20 and 25 runs, respectively, to the team's total.
Further strengthening Nepal's position, Gulsan Jha and Kushal Malla contributed 34 and 26 runs, respectively.
In response, the Netherlands faces the challenge of chasing down Nepal's target to secure victory in the T20I series finals.
