Nepal's Batting Effort: 82 runs and four wickets down in first 10 overs
KATHMANDU: Nepal's cricket team faced an early setback but showed resilience, managing to put up a total of 82 runs on the scoreboard while losing four wickets within the initial 10 overs of the match.
In a crucial encounter, Namibia won the toss and opted to field first, putting Nepal in to bat.
Aasif Sheikh, tasked with opening the innings, could only contribute a solitary run before heading back to the pavilion. Captain Rohit Poudel's innings ended with just 10 runs to his name.
However, amidst the early blows, Anil Shah and Gulsan Jha provided some stability, adding 23 and 26 runs respectively to Nepal's total.
As the match reached its midway point, Aarif Sheikh and Kushal Malla remained on the crease, looking to build a partnership and steer their team to a competitive total.
With Nepal's spot in the series final hanging in the balance, today's match is crucial, especially considering the team's recent defeats against Namibia and the Netherlands in the preceding encounters.
