Tri-nations T20I: Namibia sets a formidable target of 207 runs for Nepal

KATHMANDU: In the opening match of the Tri-nations T20 International Series, Namibia has set a daunting target of 207 runs for Nepal to chase and win.

Earlier, after winning the toss at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Namibia opted to bat first.

Taking charge from the outset, Namibia posted a commanding total of 206 runs, losing four wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton starred for Namibia with a remarkable century, scoring 101 runs. His century came off just 33 balls, making it the fastest century in T20I cricket to date.

Among the Nepalese bowlers, Rohit Poudel, the captain, claimed two wickets, while Karan KC and Abhinash Bohara chipped in with one wicket each.
