Namibia scores 36 runs for 1 wicket in powerplay against Nepal in Tri-nations T20I opener

KATHMANDU: In the opening match of the Tri-nations T20 International Series, Namibia managed to score 36 runs for the loss of one wicket during the initial powerplay of six overs against Nepal.

Having won the toss at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Namibia opted to bat first.

Nepal's Karan KC made the initial breakthrough for the team by taking the first wicket.

Namibia's opening batsman, Michael V Lingen, contributed 20 runs before being caught out.
