Executive Chair of Platinum College Gurung arrested in gold smuggling case
KATHMANDU: Jeevan Kumar Gurung, the executive chairman of Dilli Bazar-based Platinum College has been arrested in connection with a 14 kg gold smuggling case.
Gurung was arrested after the investigation revealed him as the mastermind behind the smuggling of 14 gold from Dubai.
According to SP Hobindra Bogati, the spokesperson for the Crime Investigation Bureau (CIB), Gurung was arrested from Samakhushi, Kathmandu.
The CIB is likely to hand over Gurung to the Custom Office.
