Advance ticket booking for Dashain open from today

KATHMANDU, Oct 9: The advance booking of tickets for the Dashain festival has opened from today. It was decided to open the advance ticket booking from October 9, today, on Friday.

Saroj Sitaula, the senior Vice Chairperson of the Nepal National Transport Entrepreneurs Association, informed Ratopati that the travel fare has been fixed at old rates. It is estimated that around 2 million people will exit Kathmandu valley during Dashain.

In previous years, advance ticket booking for long and medium-distance public vehicles used to be opened almost a month before the start of Dashain. Sitaula says that more homework is being done on vehicle fare, number of vehicles and opening the route permit.
