PM Dahal announces to provide Rs 50,000 to quake victims
KATHMANDU, Oct 6: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has announced to provide 50,000 rupees to the earthquake victims. He announced this at Chainpur on Friday, after an observation of the areas affected by the earthquake.
PM Dahal made a commitment to provide Rs. 15,000 as immediate relief to the victims. Similarly, he has announced to treat the injured free of cost and provide Rs. 200,000 to the family of the deceased.
He has made a commitment to assess the damage and make a procedure for reconstruction in coordination with all three levels of the government.
The government has arranged for relief materials like tents, blankets, medicines, food and clothes. It has been said that more relief materials will be provided in coordination with all three levels of the government if needed.
