Maoist Center Secretary Acharya admitted to Bir Hospital
Acharya out of danger
KATHMANDU, Oct 4: Doctors have informed that Dilaram Acharya, the Secretary of the CPN Maoist Center and Sudurpashchim Province In-charge, who had his right side paralyzed, is now out of danger.
Executive Director Santosh Paudel informed that it was seen that Acharya had heart problems from before and that both his Neuro and Cardio problems are being treated at once. He said that his blood pressure is being controlled with the help of medication and when his condition is balanced, he will be treated by therapy, and that it will take some time for him to return to normal.
Acharya had gone to Accham to participate in the review meeting under the 3-month Special Transformation campaign. The right side of his body became paralyzed on Wednesday morning and after his treatment was not possible in the Bayalpata Hospital, he was brought to Nepalgunj via a Nepal Army helicopter and was treated at the Nepalgunj Medical College.
But after his treatment was not possible there as well, he was admitted to Bir Hospital at around 4:30 pm, informed CPN Maoist Central Office Secretary Dor Prasad Upadhyay. According to Upadhyay, Acharya has been kept at 104 number Ward after treatment in the emergency room.
