11 kg of gold smuggling in Dolakha: 3 including Chinese citizen arrested

KATHMANDU, Oct 3: Police have arrested 3 people including a Chinese citizen in the case of smuggling of 11 kg of gold that was seized from Dolakha.
The arrested are Lal Bahadur Tamang, Sanath Pradhan and Chinese citizen Gang Rou. They were arrested from Swayambhu, informed Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) spokesperson Nawaraj Adhikari.
With this, the number of arrested in the case has reached 10. A case of organized crime is ongoing against them in Dolakha.
Within just four days, 11 kg of smuggled gold was seized from Dolakha this month. 4 kg of gold was seized from Singati, Dolakha on September 28, 3 kg on Sep 29, and 4kg from Lamabagar on October 1.
