14 Manpower companies suspended for sending Nepali workers to Japan by submitting suspicious certificates
KATHMANDU, Oct 2: 14 Manpower companies that have been sending Nepalese workers to Japan by submitting suspicious and questionable certificates, have been suspended. The Department of Foreign Employment has suspended the license of the businessmen who have been sending Nepalese workers to Japan by submitting questionable certificates of Japanese language and culture training for taking labor permits.
A complaint was filed in the Department a few months ago for that. The Department suspended the companies and started further investigation claiming that those manpower companies were seen involved in the fraud during the initial investigation. The department has stated that it has decided to suspend the companies under Sub-section 7 of Section 61 of the Foreign Employment Act 2064 and investigate further.
The 14 suspended companies include Good Life International Employment Agency, Satyawati Overseas, DN International, Royal Overseas, Jobs Global, and Lions International. Director General of the Department Madan Dahal said that they submitted fake documents to send the workers to Japan. He said that such activities have been found to have been done by them within four years to date and that they are being investigated further.
