Express Bus Service to be extended in other areas of Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Sep 20: Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Prakash Jwala says that the Express Bus Service will not be limited only from Ratnapark to Suryavinayak.

Minister Jwala promised to extend the Express Bus Service in other places of the Capital City while inaugurating the service at Shantibatika in Ratnapark on the occasion of the Constitution Day.

Jwala said that the government will gradually set up the service to the Airport, Ring Road, Nagdhunga, Lalitpur, Balaju, Maharajgunj and Chabahil areas.

He added that the Express Bus Service was launched for the convenience of the passengers as there is a need for many buses during the busy office hours in the morning and evening. The service will be launched for 2 hours each in the morning and evening.

The government will continue to monitor and follow up on the Express Bus Service and continue the service without any interruption, said Minister Jwala.
