27 Judges recommended for appointment in High Courts
KATHMANDU, Sep 15: The Council of Justice meeting has recommended 27 Judges for appointment in the High Court. In the meeting of the Council held Friday, the Council recommended names of the 27 judges out of the vacancies in the High Courts, informed Man Bahadur Karki, the spokesperson of the Council of Justice.
Out of those recommended, 18 have been recommended from the position of District Judges, while 3 are employees and 6 are legal practitioners. The names of those recommended have not been made public yet.
There is a constitutional provision for the Chief Justice to appoint the Judges of the High Courts recommended by the Council of Justice.
