79 doctors of Hetauda Hospital submit collective resignation to Medical Superintendent
MAKAWANPUR, Sep 15: 79 doctors of Hetauda Hospital have prepared a collective resignation letter. Specialists and medical officers working in various departments of Hetauda Hospital have collectively prepared the resignation letter. The 79 doctors, demanding action against those involved in the assault on the doctors, signed the collective resignation letter and submitted the letter to the Medical Superintendent Dr. Ramchandra Sapkota.
A doctor informed that the reason mentioned in the letter was that, as there was no guarantee of safety, it would not be able to provide treatment services. According to him, they were forced to resign collectively against the reluctance shown by the police administration against those attacking the doctors on duty by entering the hospital.
Medical Superintendent Sapkota said that the letter has not been sent to the chief district officer yet. He said that the resignation letter would be submitted to the chief district officer according to the time and circumstances.
