HoR meeting ends with passing Condolence proposal on Subash Nemwang’s demise
KATHMANDU, Sep 14: The House of Representatives meeting has unanimously passed the condolence proposal on the demise of the Chairman of the Constituent Assembly, former Speaker and Vice Chairman of CPN UML Subash Chandra Nemwang.
In the meeting that started at 4 pm on Thursday, Speaker Devraj Ghimire presented the condolence proposal, which was passed unanimously. Following that, a moment of silence was observed for 1 minute wishing peace for the departed soul.
While presenting the condolence proposal, Speaker Ghimire said that the demise of Nemwang is a great loss for the country. The MPs present in the meeting had sentimental expressions on their face.
The 71-year-old Nemwang passed away on September 12 from a cardiac arrest.
The meeting of the House of Representatives has been adjourned until 1 pm tomorrow.
