NA Meeting: Condolence proposal passed on Subash Nemwang’s demise

KATHMANDU, Sep 14: The National Assembly meeting has passed the condolence proposal on the demise of the Chairman of the Constituent Assembly and Vice Chairman of CPN UML Subash Chandra Nemwang. In the meeting that started at 2:30 pm on Thursday, a moment of silence was observed where all the members of the National Assembly as well as the Chairman Ganesh Timilsina stood up and remained silent for 1 minute after the condolence proposal was passed.

In the meeting that was held for 5 minutes, the Chairman of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina at the beginning of the meeting, presented a brief life journey of Nemwang. Then he presented the condolence proposal, which the parliamentarians supported by raising their hands.

Leader Nemwang passed away on Tuesday night from a cardiac arrest.

Similarly, the meeting of the National Assembly has been adjourned until 1:01 pm on the 29th of September.
