Nepal concedes last minute goal to Myanmar in loss
KATHMANDU, Sep 11: The Nepalese team has lost to the home team Myanmar in the second match of the international friendly football.
Myanmar claimed the win against Nepal by 1-0 in the friendly match played in Yangon, Myanmar on Monday.
The first half of the competitive match ended in a goalless draw. The second half was also very competitive, but the outcome was decided after Win Laing scored the goal for Myanmar in the 86th minute of the game.
The first friendly match played last Friday ended in a goalless draw. Nepal played a friendly with Myanmar to prepare for the preliminary phase of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
The Nepalese team is facing Laos on October 12 and 17 in the preliminary phase of the World Cup and Asia Cup qualifiers.
