Tax Officer arrested with Rs 2.6 million from Nepalgunj Airport

KATHMANDU, Sep 11: Police have arrested a government officer from the Ranjha Airport in Nepalgunj with 2.6 million rupees. The arrested is Khagendra Sapkota, the Tax Officer working at the Internal Revenue Office in Tulsipur, Dang.

Sapkota was arrested while heading towards Kathmandu from Shree Air, Banke’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Santosh Singh Rathore informed Ratopati. Sapkota will be handed over to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) for further investigation and action.
