One more arrested in recent gold smuggling case

Kathmandu, Sept 8: One more person has been arrested in the recent case of 60 kg 716 grams gold smuggling. The arrested is Shiva Kumar Sarraf of Bara district, according to the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Kuber Kadayat.

A team from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested Sarraf on Thursday night.

A team of the Department of Revenue Investigation had seized the 60 kg 716 grams of gold from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on July 19. 

With this, the number of people arrested in the case has reached 27.
