KATHMANDU, Sep 7: Various political leaders, government representatives and the general public have paid tributes to the late Ward Chairman of Ward-16 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

Rizal's dead body was brought to the National Assembly Hall at 11 in the morning for his funeral ceremony. His body will be taken to Pashupati Temple for his last rites.

Late Rizal was also the coordinator of the Infrastructure Committee under the Metropolitan Executive. He passed away at 7:30 a.m. during treatment.

The Mayor of the Metropolitan City, Balendra Shah, paid tribute to the late Rizal by covering his body with a flag.
