Blood transfusion centre set up in Waling
WALING, Sep 6: A blood transfusion centre has been established in Waling of Syangja district. The blood transfusion centre was established at Grahau Basic Hospital with the purpose of ensuring blood supply to the needy and safeguarding their lives.
With the beginning of the blood transfusion centre in Waling, treatment for the dialysis centre, maternity service and emergency health care services is expected to be easy and accessible.
The locals from Waling, Bhirkot, Chapakot, Galayang and Kaligandaki in Syangja and the people from the southern belt in Parbat are expected to benefit from the blood transfusion centre.
Mayor of Waling Municipality Krishna Khand stated that the centre was brought into operation with the coordination of the Nepal Red Cross Society Syangja chapter.
Nepal Red Cross Society would manage the blood transfusion centre while municipality and hospital administration would carry out other tasks, President of Nepal Red Cross Society Syangja chapter Dinesh Aryal said.
