Koshi Province government: Debate between plaintiff and respondent concludes

KATHMANDU, Sep 5: The debate between the plaintiff and respondent in the writ filed against the Chief Minister of Koshi Province, Uddhav Thapa, has concluded.
A writ had been filed against the Chief Minister of the Koshi Province in the Supreme Court saying the vote of confidence he took was unconstitutional.
The debate was held from the respondent's side today as the debate from the plaintiff's side concluded yesterday. The hearing on the case has been scheduled for the 7th of September.
Hikmat Kumar Karki, the former Chief Minister, had filed a writ against the Province Chief, the Chief Minister and others after Thapa obtained the vote of confidence on August 21 by participating Speaker Israil Mansuri in the voting.
