Pakistan gives Nepal 343-run target with Babar’s record century

KATHMANDU, Aug 30: With the help of Pakistan Captain Babar Azam’s magnificent Century, Pakistan has given Nepal a big target of 343 runs. In the scheduled 50 overs of the opening match held in Multan, Pakistan made 342 runs at the loss of 6 wickets.

Before being caught out in Sompal Kami’s ball, the captain Azam scored 151 runs in 131 balls with the help of 14 fours and 4 sixes.

Similarly, Iftikhar Ahmed also played a century with a score of 109 runs remaining not out. Mohammad Rizwan scored 44 runs before being made run out by Dipendra Singh Airee, and Fakhar Zaman also added 14 runs before being caught out in Karan KC’s ball. Other batsmen could not score runs in double digits.

Sompal Kami took two wickets for Nepal, while Karan KC and Sandeep Lamichhane took one wicket each.
