Students take out funeral procession protesting fee hike

KATHMANDU, Aug 29: Students have taken out a symbolic funeral procession protesting against the fee hike by the Institute of Engineering (IOE).

The police interfered during the procession that was taken out from Pulchok Campus on Tuesday. The students continued the procession up to Maitighar Mandala despite Police interference.

Students have been protesting after the IOE increased the Engineering fees by 144 percent.
