Lalita Niwas Case: Accused taken to Court, Indictment being filed

KATHMANDU, Aug 27: The accused in the case of the Lalita Niwas land scam have been presented to the Court. The District Government Attorney’s Office has presented the 18 accused arrestees to the court along with the indictment.

The Government Attorney has made 290 people defendants and has taken the indictment to register the case in the District Court Kathmandu.

Dipak Dahal, the information officer of the District Court Kathmandu, told Ratopati that the process to file the indictment is underway. Out of the 290 defendants, 18 have been arrested while others are absconding.
