Engineering Students Protest Fee Hike (With Pics)

KATHMANDU, Aug 25: Students of Pulchok Institute of Engineering Studies have protested with a march against the fee hike. On Friday, they marched from the engineering campus to Maitighar in protest against the increase in fees.

The students have been protesting against the increase in fees for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) for a few days now.

After the BE fee was increased from 3 lakh 18 thousand to 7 lakh 77 thousand, the students have been protesting. On Thursday, the students of the All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union (ANNISU) raised slogans in front of the Dean's office and protested against the fee hike.
