Chief Justice Shrestha takes oath of Office and Secrecy

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: The newly appointed Chief Justice Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha has taken the oath of office and secrecy. President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath to the newly appointed Chief Justice Shrestha at the ceremony that was organized in Sheetal Niwas on Tuesday.

Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Timilsina, Ministers and others were present in the ceremony. President Paudel appointed Shrestha as the Chief Justice on Monday.
