Court unable to hear contempt of court case against Prachanda
KATHMANDU, Aug 20: The contempt of court case filed against Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has been listed as "can't be seen" on Sunday.
Prime Minister Dahal had given a public statement claiming that the court decided and affirmed a criminal case on a matter related to the peace process and stated that he did not accept the judgement of the court.
Senior Advocate Dinesh Tripathi had filed a contempt of court case against him following the statement.
The contempt of court case was scheduled to be heard in the bench of Standing Chief Justice Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha and Justice Hari Prasad Phuyal but has been postponed due to busyness.
The contempt of court against Prachanda was filed on May 25, 2016, in the Supreme Court.
