Lalita Niwas case: Two arrestees released

KATHMANDU, Aug 16: Two arrestees, who were suspected to be involved in the misappropriation of the government land in the Lalita Niwas case, have been released.

The former official of the Dillibazar Land Revenue Office, Dharma Prasad Gautam, and the former head of the Samarjung Company, Lokhari Ghimire, have been released from custody.

The Spokesperson of the Central Investigation Bureau, Navaraj Adhikari informed that they were released on Wednesday due to health reasons. 

They were released under the condition they would be present on the day of the submission of the case in the court.

The Central Investigation Bureau also informed that the court has given the permission to detain those arrested in the case for another 5 days for investigation.
