Mayor Balen and other ministers hold meeting with Prime Minister

KATHMANDU, Aug 15: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' held a meeting with ministers, secretaries of various ministries and the head of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City at the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers on Tuesday.

Prime Minister discussed with the Deputy Prime Minister and the Home Minister, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Urban Development Minister, Sita Gurung, Land Management, Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation Minister, Ranjita Shrestha, Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister, Anita Devi Shah, Chief of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balen Shah, Chief Secretary Dr. Baikuntha Aryan and the various secretaries of the Departmental Ministries of the government.

The secretary of the Ministry of Urban Development, Rabindranath Shrestha, informed Ratopati that Prime Minister Prachanda discussed the topics such as the dispute related to the empty land in Tinkune and the problems related to the slum residents living on the banks of the river in Kathmandu.
