Ladakh hosting Fashion Show in Umling La with International Beauty Pageants Winners

KATHMANDU, Aug 13: Ladakh Arts and Entertainment Alliance is set to organize the second edition of the ‘Ladakh International Music Festival’ in 2023. But this time, it will also be hosting the ‘Ladakh International Fashion Runway’, a one-of-a-kind fashion show, right after the Music Festival.

The event will take place at Umling La, the world’s highest motorable road at 19,022 feet. The event will feature Miss Worlds, Miss Universes, and Miss Earths from the G20 and G20 Guest countries, who will walk the runway in a sustainable fashion show to promote peace, friendship and sustainable development.

The Ladakh International Fashion Runway, as an official attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the world’s highest fashion show, has expected to attract international media attention while boosting tourism in Ladakh.

The Ladakh International Fashion Runway will be celebrating India’s G20 presidency through the launch of its schedule of trips and fashion showcases. The International participants, such as Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth titleholders from 29 countries will unite at the highest altitude road in the world, competing in a variety of events to showcase their talents as well as promote their countries on a global stage.

Ladakh Arts and Entertainment Alliance will be holding the event between August 23, 2023, to September 3, 2023.
