Lalita Niwas Case: Madhav Nepal to return tomorrow

KATHMANDU, Aug 13: Chairman of CPN Unified Socialist, Madhav Kumar Nepal, will return to Nepal on Monday, tomorrow. The Vice-Chairman of the party, Rajendra Pandey, informed that Chairman Nepal, who is also a former Prime Minister, will return to Nepal on August 14, Monday, considering the changing political situation of the country.

Chairman Nepal, who had gone to visit European countries Switzerland, Spain, Croatia and the UK on August 7 was to return to Nepal on August 18 after participating in the program organized by the Pravasi Nepali Ekta Manch Europe. However, due to the development of cases like Lalita Niwas, and gold smuggling, the party leaders suggested President Nepal skip the visit and return.

The Supreme Court had ordered an investigation on former Prime Ministers and Ministers in the Lalita Niwas case, just a day before Chairman Nepal left for Europe.
