Gold Smuggling Case: Businessman Adukiya arrested

KATHMANDU, Aug 11: In the recent gold smuggling scandal, Businessman Rohan Adukiya has been arrested from the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) on Friday.

He was arrested while he was arriving from New Delhi, India, and has been handed over to the Department of Revenue Investigation, informed the DIG of the Security Office in TIA, Arjun Chand.

The arrested is the son of businessman Rakesh Adukiya, who is also involved in the smuggling of around a quintal of gold. Rakesh is still absconding.
