HoR meeting adjourned till August 14

KATHMANDU, Aug 11: After obstruction from the main opposition party CPN UML, the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting has been adjourned till August 14.

In a chaotic situation at the meeting, where UML MPs went to surround the Speaker’s seat, Speaker Devraj Ghimire adjourned the meeting till 1 pm on August 11 after just 15 minutes had passed.

While UML MP Jwala Kumari Shah was given time to speak after UML MPs protested at the beginning, the ruling parties’ MPs also stood up and started protesting, making the situation chaotic.
