4 killed and 19 injured in Rolpa Bus accident

BUTWAL, Aug 8: Four people have died in a bus accident in Rolpa on Tuesday afternoon. DSP Shyam Saru Magar of District Police Office relayed the information that one woman and three men who died have not yet been identified.

He said that 19 people were injured in the accident. The bus with number plate Na 5 Kha 2612 that left for Ghorahi in Dang from Bagmara in Rolpa, met with an accident at Tila of Triveni Rural Municipality at around 1 pm.

According to Police, the bus carrying 25 passengers fell nearly 150 meters. The driver had absconded immediately after the accident, but has come in contact after 1 hour, informed DSP Magar.

It has been informed by the District Police Office that 7 of the injured have been sent to Ghorahi for further treatment.
