Floods affect Kailali, around 500 houses flooded

DHANGADHI, Aug 8: Around 500 houses have been flooded in the Kailali district after the heavy rainfall since last night. According to the District Administration Office Kailali, people of the Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan, the Godawari Municipality, the Bhajani Municipality, the Joshipur Rural Municipality and the Kailari Rural Municipality have been affected.

Shivaraj Joshi, the Information Officer of the District Administration Office, Kailali, informed that the rescue work of the affected and helping them move to safe places is being carried out by the locals and the police.
