Top leaders’ meeting along with Speaker sitting again today

KATHMANDU, Aug 8: The top leaders will be discussing again in the morning today to end the obstruction of the House of Representatives meeting by the main opposition CPN UML.

The meeting will be held at 10:30 am at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, where Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and the leader of the main opposition party KP Sharma Oli will be holding discussions.

After an understanding was not reached during the meetings of Monday held twice, it has been decided to hold a meeting again today morning. CPN UML has been obstructing the parliament demanding a high-level inquiry committee on the gold scandal.

As the meeting of the House of Representatives could not be held, there has been a delay in making the law and the issues of public concern have not been able to be raised in the Parliament.
