Constitutional Council meeting called to recommend Chief Justice

KATHMANDU, Aug 3: The Constitutional Council meeting is sitting today at 5 pm to advance the appointment process of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

The meeting is preparing to recommend the names of the new Chief Justice. As the current Chief Justice Harikrishna Karki is officially retiring on August 5 and the Supreme Court will be headed by an acting Chief Justice, the Constitutional Council meeting has been called.
