Public Accounts Committee meeting adjourned
KATHMANDU, July 28: The Public Accounts Committee meeting that sat at 11:30 am on Friday morning has been adjourned due to a lack of quorum in the Public Accounts Committee under the House of Representatives. The required quorum of 14 people did not reach the parliament, so the meeting could not be held.
Thirteen MPs were present to participate in the meeting. An employee of the Parliament Secretariat informed that the meeting was postponed due to the absence of MPs Shyam Kumar Ghimire, and Gokul Baskota, who had informed that they would participate in the meeting.
There was an agenda to discuss the internal procedures of the committee and the complaints received in the meeting today. After the meeting was adjourned, the next meeting has been scheduled for Sunday.
