PM Dahal and IFAD Chief meet

KATHMANDU, July 25: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and the Chief of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Dr. Alvaro Lario, met on Tuesday morning.

The Prime Minister's Secretariat said that during the meeting, the review of various projects conducted by IFAD in Nepal, the relations between IFAD and Nepali people, etc. were discussed. IFAD has been conducting various projects in the agricultural sector in Nepal.

PM Dahal and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, had a meeting in Italy on Monday. Likewise, PM Dahal addressed the conference as the Chairperson of the Least Developed Countries (LDC) and also had a meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

PM Dahal met with the Nepali representatives in seven countries on Monday. He met with the representatives of the Nepalese People's Progressive Forum Italy, Belgium, Spain, Croatia, Portugal, Austria, and Ireland.
