Ajayameru rural municipality to adopt e-attendance

Dadeldhura, Ajayameru rural municipality in the district is to adopt electronic attendance at all its offices. This will be the first of its kind in the district for employee attendance. 
Explaining the reasons for adopting digital attendance system, the chief administrative officer of the rural municipality Khem Raj Poudel said they were doing so to encourage the office employees to strictly keep to office time and to make the services effective. He added that this step would also promote transparency in employees' office attendance. 
According to Poudel, e-attendance would be adopted at ball the ward offices, 17 schools including basic and secondary, five health offices and the office of Ajayameru rural municipality. 
The administrative officer said it would be easier to monitor whether employees are keeping to the office time or not with the implementation of the digital attendance system.
