PM Prachanda welcomed in Italy by officials and ambassadors

KATHMANDU, July 23: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has landed in Italy to attend the United Nations Food System Summit +2 Stocktaking Moment (UNFSS+2) to be held in Rome. Prachanda arrived in Rome on Sunday at 7:30 am in local time.

Prime Minister's Press Coordinator Surya Kiran Sharma informed that PM Prachanda was welcomed at his landing by the officials of Italy's Foreign Affairs Ministry including Nepalese ambassador Bharat Kumar Regmi.

The Prime Minister will address the opening ceremony of the program as the President of the least developed countries. Nepal has assumed the presidency of the Global Coordination Bureau of the least developed countries for 5 years.

Prime Minister Prachanda will return to Nepal on the 28th of July.
