Two men arrested for raping 73-year-old woman in Tulsipur

BUTWAL, July 21: Two men have been arrested on the charge of gang-raping a 73-year-old woman inside a bus in Tulsipur of the Dang district.

30-year-old Pushkar Roka of Tulsipur Submetropolitan-15, Dang, and 20-year-old Resham BK of Kumakh Rural Municipality-7, Salyan, were arrested from Tulsipur Buspark while they were raping the old woman, District Police Chief Bir Bahadur Oli informed.

The 73-year-old woman from Pyuthan Swargadwari Municipality that arrived at Tulsipur bus park late at night, was persuaded by the two who claimed to help her and took her inside the bus numbered Na 4 Kha 7848 which was parked inside the bus park located at Tulsipur-5. 

The police arrested the two while she was being raped in turn. After hearing the screams of the woman, the locals informed the police and then the police reached the spot. The police have informed that further investigation is being carried out on the incident.
