Controversial film 'Adipurush' earns 19.9 million in Nepal

KATHMANDU, July 20: The controversial film 'Adipurush' has earned nearly Rs 20 million in Nepal.
The Film Development Board released the box office report on Thursday revealing the film had earned 19 million 970 thousand 290 rupees and 36 paisa in total. The film was released on June 16, 2023 in Nepal.
Various local levels in Nepal including the Kathmandu Metropolitan City had banned the screening of the film because of the problematic dialogue in the film.
Amidst the controversy, 59 thousand and 656 tickets were sold according to the box office report.
