Tribute to Sita Dahal organized in Baluwatar

KATHMANDU, July 18: A tribute to Sita Dahal, the spouse of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has been organized at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar. The tribute program has been organized on the 7th day of her demise.

Expressing his gratitude to all those who paid tribute to Sita, PM Dahal said that the honor and tribute she received from the hospital to the party office and from Aryaghat to Baluwatar was the justice and respect of the people for her sacrifice and penance.

The Vice President, former Vice President, Speaker, National Assembly Chairperson, former Prime Ministers, Ministers, Diplomats and people from various sectors of the society participated in the tribute program.
Sita Dahal passed away on July 12 at the age of 69.
