Lalita Niwas case: Supreme Court orders to present Raut in bench on Monday for hearing

KATHMANDU, July 16: The Supreme Court has issued an order to present 17 people in custody including Communications Secretary Krishna Bahadur Raut and Bhatbhateni Supermarket Operator Min Bahadur Gurung before the court on Monday tomorrow.

The court postponed the hearing after it was unable to hear the writ on Sunday due to other detention hearings. Supreme Court spokesperson Bimal Paudel informed that the hearing was postponed as there were 6 pending cases and the government was vacant as well. 

The hearing has been scheduled in the joint bench of Justice Sushmalata Mathema and Justice Til Prasad Shrestha.
